The MBA program in Healthcare Management is focused on health services management. Graduates will be qualified to manage a variety of health-related establishments such as hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, medical and dental practices and clinics, and assisted living and elder care establishments. Grads may also pursue management positions with medical and pharmaceutical product distributors and insurance enterprises.
Admission to the MBA Program is open to prospective students with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a regionally accredited college or university. Students lacking undergraduate coursework in business may be required to take up to 12 hours of foundation courses in accounting, economics, finance and management or marketing, in addition to the curricula for the MBA program. In some cases, significant professional work experience will be considered in lieu of undergraduate business coursework.
